This album is very important to me. It's conception came about by accident about a year ago when I was struggling with my dad's final days. Going into my little brother's bedroom studio and letting it out served as great healing and meditative processing throughout the experience. WIth the recent anniversary of his passing, I knew I wanted to do something special but I didn't know exactly what. This project feels like the prime answer. These meditations, which carry the energy of the search for resilience and beauty amidst pain and struggle, encapsulate that time in my life. Sometimes, hurting is just a part of being human. I dedicate this album to him, Jeff Nelson, and to all the people who strive to find Beautiful, Resilient Lightness amidst the struggle of the day-to-day.
